Box from Smiles

This box arrived Thursday, filled to the brim. It was a prize from Smiles Project. It was donated by Gail. Thanks a million Gail. It is full of fun fabrics. It even has a little blanket for me to make my favorite bear blankets. It has fabric for the lizards, baby dolls, tiny doll blankets. So much to sew, so little time to sew.

I would say he did an excellent job of excersising his jaws.

Here is one cute little bag, all ready to go. It has a little flamigo earaser, and a little inspirational card. Then Kathy will put finger puppets in it, and walla, a cute gift for Smiles Project.

Little totes ready to go to Smiles Project. The fabric pieces needed are 9 x 18 inches. A great stashbusting project. I also used up ribbon I had laying around for years. Some of this fabric is from Liz. She went to an estate sale, and grabbed a bag of fabric for me. You are the greatest Liz.

This is me getting ready for the storms and rain. See all the beautiful vines that have grown all over the atruim. Well, its a drainage issue, see the large basket, white, full of vines I have pulled up, it's the third basket, I still have a ways to go.

Ahh, another birthday. It was a wonderful 4 days, heye, we like to drag out our birthday fun. This is our evening out as a family. We had a lovely dinner at Olive Garden.

Calling all stashbusters

Where have I been? Working and stashbusting. I have been trying to stock up on cute items for Smiles Project. I have used up all my stash that is fitting for these two little cuties, and am now going through my friends extra stash. If any stashbuster would like to donate a little fabric for this wonderful, fun project, I would love to sew it up.

Cute little doll: 6 1/2 inch square of flannel or fleece.

little bags: 10 1/2 wide by any length as long as it is at least 12 inches long. something cheerful, and suitable for kids.

Here's a little bag made out of jean pockets. We then hung every key and key chain off of it. Very cute.
