Practicing making the top of a wedding cake. I was quite pleased with the results.

Cute little snuggler

Well, I decided what to do with the doggie fabric, I saw this cute little snuggler on Patchetery Menigare. Sheeze, is that spelling right? It will be months before a couple of cute little ones make their arrivals, so I am trying to get a head start on a couple of special gifts. The pattern calls for velcro, which I hate. I am thinking of a way to make this reversal.

I also, plan on making a couple of quilted ones. I tried to talk myself out of doing that, since these would be used for such a short time. But I think, I will have to make a couple of quilted ones.

I saw this kit, and loved it. It reminded me of the girls playing in the garden as children. So my wonder daughter painted this for me. Isn't it beautiful. I have it hanging in my bedroom.

almost all of this quilt was scraps from friends I have sewed with. It was bittersweet using them up. I don't get to sew with my friends anymore, I miss them. I also miss meshing their scraps with mine. I always remembe the fun we had when I sew their scraps.
