Taming the strip stash

We went to a friend's wedding this weekend. We had lots of fun, ate lots of food. It was freezing out side, and I had a leaky radiator hose on the way home. Talk about an exciting night.

Well, I have tamed the scrap strip bin with the Bonnie Hunter quilt I have been showing lately. I did think I would have enough scraps to finish this little cutie, but I am 11 blocks short. I do have about 50 more blocks started but just ran out of variety. So I stopped and put it up in its box till I make more scraps.

I thought I would get so many done, I even bought fabric to make a green quilt. But it will stay safely in its box, till I am ready to start again.

Here are 2 more of Bonnie Hunter's quilts, I have also sewed until I used up all my variety of scraps. The one that has purple, is called the braid. The red is a leader and ender she is working on. I don't think that she has named it. I do believe I have enough made of the braid to make a baby quilt.
