Here's my pile for Dani to iron. She loves to iron, so I save my blocks for her to iron if I don't need them immediately. You can see a little peak of my baby nine patch. I use nine patches to use up all the 2 1/2 inch blocks that my good friends give me to make quilts for babies.

Chae and Tiff I'M FINALLY LEGAL Tiff and Dani

It's my cake and no one gets a bite. They always give the prettiest little cakes for birthdays and anniversaries.
Awwwwwwwwwww he looks so sweet. What is he thinking about.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh, can't turn my back on him for a second. He's taking it down, not putting it back together. and this is after I told him, I'm leaving, you better not take anything apart. haha
Evidently he took it as a dare. Of course, now I have no oven, so no baking.

catching up

Our new favorite snack.
Take a box of your favorite cake mix, and one small pack regular pudding, pour dry into a ziplock gallon bag, shake.
1 cup mix
1 egg
3 T water
1 T oil
spray bowl with pam. put all ingredients in bowl, and mix. Microwave (Mine cooks in 2 minutes) We add chocolate chips, white chips, pieces of candy bars. You can even frost if you want.

My first finished projects. I am making little doll quilts to practice my freemotion quilting. I read somewhere that you pay more attention to the quilting if you practice on something to keep, and not just scrap muslin. I did seem to pay more attention.

Tiff's 21'st birthday. Yeah, we had fun, great food, lots of laughter, will post more of this event later.

Here's my basketweave I'm working on, trying to decide which color to use as the borders. Of course, I think I have enough to make blocks for 2 quilts.

Dani and Mia working on the computer. Here is another sampler that I took the class with Gail McInnis. The pic is terrible, it's already hanging on the wall in a hallway, and I did not want to take it down to take the picture.

Can you believe our plants are still this green in our courtyard? It seems to have survived our little snow.
